If Ned play Hasaranga smartly, they might win this. Has already taken a wicket in his 3rd over with a beauty. TBH,he has so much variety and it won't surprise me one bit if he manages 4-5 more  :phehe:

Ned missed a trick when they had SL on the mat at 131-7. The tail added 80 runs with DDS. Batting too, they were 88-3 .. Just couldn't keep out Theekshana.

Barresi got run out lackadaisically. That was the difference between a comfortable win and this result.

Not really. 212 is more than enough for Ned

I mean when I wrote it, it was 4/40 at one point. But great win at the end.

Barresi is 40 years old i think. That stutter made it impossible for him to go again quickly.

Windies are out if they lose this right? That will be two consecutive WCs without them.

Yes they will be out if they lose today and this will be the first time they will not qualify for an  ICC Tournament ( Odi WC or T20 WC ) . Hasn't happened before so nothing consecutive.

wow Alzaari Joseph

Joseph to McMullen, SIX runs

What a shot! Back of a length delivery outside off stump. McMullen, despite what happened the previous ball, walks down the track menacingly and pumps it, almost flat-batted, over the bowler's head!

16.3
Joseph to McMullen, no run

Sharp bumper on off stump that climbs through. McMullen does well to sway out of the way

Scotland in a hurry here, probably want to finish quickly to boost their NRR.

Even Zimbabwe will be under pressure now as Scotland emerge as one of the favorites to qualify for the WC , as they are next to play against Zimbabwe and Netherlands. They win both the matches and they are likely to qualify ahead of Zimbabwe.

They failed to qualify for the main stage in the T20 WC in Australia if I remember correctly
