rageaddict Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Can't believe what happened here, Netherlands were going nowhere and needed 100 runs in 10 overs to qualify for the WC and they have almost done it .
rollingstoned Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Holy **** what a performance this has been by De Leede. 5 fer and a century that is as clutch as they come under the most trying circumstances. Kohli used to play such innings once upon a time. nitinbwj 1
sage Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Unfortunate that both these teams can't play in the WC rollingstoned 1
rageaddict Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 NED need 71 off the next 36 balls if they're to get ahead of Scotland in the net run-rate race. This was the equation a while ago, now it's 3 needed in 2 overs .

rageaddict Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Netherlands win by 4 wickets and they become the tenth team to make it to the 2023 ODI World Cup!

Doubt they will be able to maintain consistency.Atleast Zim has got a lot of enthusiastic supporters in the stands,it would have been better if they had qualified Ever been to Scotland ?
Lord Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 feel sad for Scots and Zim. They all deserve to qualify. Least ICC can do is give them more games, but they have no games scheduled v Full member teams till next WC sage 1

Unthinkable freak hitting to win from seemingly impossible situation and they both play for Ned and both can bowl as well Dream on BCCI tatti corrupt selfish pos XI. The mfers haven't even selected the freak Rinku who is ready to roll. They will instead play all the losers. They wasted SKY for a year and now Rinku. rollingstoned 1
nitinbwj Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 I just hope that they beat this BCCI XI at home in front of packed crowds. Besharam hain sab ke sab.
rageaddict Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 (edited) India v/s Netherlands set to be played at Wankhede. Will that be a cracker ? Edited July 6, 2023 by rageaddict
rollingstoned Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Aren't Ned missing a lot of players? Off the top of my head Van meekeren, Van der Merwe and that Vettori type chashmish left arm spinner are all missing.

Popular is relative to the size of your country , so here are a few of facts The county of Aberdeenshire in Scotland alone has more crickets clubs than every county in England bar Yorkshire and Kent Having watched 3 crappy Ranji Trophy games in India, when I played my club we were watched by many many many more than were at those games . If " no one" was interested in cricket in Scotland I am not sure how self sufficient clubs managed to pay the hundreds and hundreds of test and first class players who have played here.

Absolutely no ones gives a crap about Ranji in India, not even the selectors .
