Decent start to the day so far. In athletics

1500 m - both Indian men qualify for the final

Heptathlon - Swapna the defending champ from Jakarta is in 4th position after 2 events. The Chinese lady Zheng and Uzbek ladies look formidable though.

100 m hurdles - Jyoti Yarraji the recent asian athletics champ qualifies for the final

Long jump - Both Indian jumpers Sreeshankar and Jinson Jerwin qualify for the final

Possible medals in the 400m men and women for India in Athletics later today

In golf, Aditi has a 6 stroke lead over the rest after 3 rounds. Looks good for the gold with one round left to go tomorrow. Her efforts have also catapulted the women's team into first place.

Shooting, Mixed team in the 10m pistol is playing for gold vs China. They topped the qualifying. Hopefully gold

Sardar choked it I felt. She was shooti g better than he was. Even his body language at the end seemed to reflect that.

Still great effort. Something that hopefully gets worked out before the Olympics (if they have this event). A lot of golds have gone begging due to 1 bad shot after leading for the entire time.
