bharathh Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Indian ladies a little off in the finals. All 9s so far. Not looking good for gold.
bharathh Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Yea.. looks like Taipei will win the finals. Tough luck ladies. Well shot so far. Pity about the final.

Number Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 It looked done and dusted when Taipei had 4 point lead but their number 2 shot a 7 and it gave us a chance to sneak back. Good job.. Gold #19. rollingstoned 1
deepdynamo Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Clutch performance. Wish our recursive archers to be as good as compound.
bharathh Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Amazing! Never expected the gold. Why do our recurve archers not have the same attitude. Wonder what the compound archers are doing that the recurve are not.

No - it's more mental.. the recurve folks do well in non-sporting event competitions. It's just in multi-sport events that they fall apart.

bharathh Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Pooja and Antim both reach bronze medal matches in the repechange. Naveen the Greco Roman wrestler wins his first repechange round
bharathh Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Mansi also wins to go to the bronze match. All our wrestlers have a chance to win at least bronze today. Sad they met the Japanese so early.

bharathh Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Antim should win bronze against her Mongol opponent. Mansi, Pooja and Naveen may not win against their higher ranked opponents deepdynamo and randomGuy 1 1
Gollum Posted October 5, 2023 Author Posted October 5, 2023 Recurve is an Olympic sport, so countries like South Korea might invest more resources in that. Competition tougher.
bharathh Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Prannoy wins game 1. Hope he closes this out quickly.
Number Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 HS Prannoy doing well in QF. Was trailing 12-6 at one stage but comes back to win 21-16 the set. In Badminton at Asian Games both semi finalists get the medal, right ? randomGuy 1
