so what happened to the rocket ? how the fook did they get 903190233821 the number of stars in their pictures visible...far more than on earth....wtf did the spacepod containing the astronauts crashland from ? Some of these conspiracy theories are the height of idiocy...IMO anyone who questions the moon landings of the Americans might as well question whether the earth is flat, whether man came from Adam and Eve and all the various other types of nonsense.

Question: If US folks landed on moon so many years ago (and I'm not saying its a hoax), then why havent any other follow up mission to moon taken place in the recent many years?

I think China and India will be trying in the next couple of years to land someone on the moon. BCCI is trying its level best that its Lalit Modi so that he could the IPL to the moon and induct 4 aliens as per the 4 aliens per side rule:--D

Answer : The amount of money involved in sending a man to the moon makes it extremely prohibitive, specially given the fact that hardly any science is to be gained by sending a man instead of a robot. Bush's Man on Mars plan was roundly criticized in academic circles as a waste of money and show of bravado as well.

I see, thanks. I'm sure one of the later US presidents was itching for some "scientific bravado" but maybe curtailed due to public outcry of money being thrown away.
