Also if you consider Jadeja is pretty much always available while Pandu has to be wrapped in cotton wool, it's  a no-brainer

Also Pandya won’t be playing the next match at least, chances of Pandya taking thelead looks bleak

With each passing day, this comparison looks worse and worse.

it's like comparing Kapil Dev to Sanjay Bangar or Reetinder Singh Sodhi

 

Jadeja is levels ahead bat or bowl or fielding, irrespective of format - ODI, T20, test cricket

Again showed why he is so important for the team. Can he score 100 from 50 balls like Klassen, no but he sure can do what he did today on regular basis.

Not to forget he was holding up runs even when NZ were trying to attack spinners. Dint let them run with the game too much. Bowled 10 economical overs in one spell. 

 

I think he serves more with his bowling in Indian conditions.

jadeja is doing well so far, he will continue , but i think pandya will edge with some out of world performances in the knockouts.

Batting is real issue especially if Hardik misses out. So far not required but can suddenly be required in big game.

 

They should ideally give some batting time to him, Ashwin,Thakur

matches are won by team effort. Pandya has done well too especially in T20

 

Played crucial knock in match against Pak last WT20 and in semis too.

The other gets injured if he hears someone sneeze aka Pandu

great day for jaddu today with ball, with bat, and in the field.

Pandya's world cup is over. He ended up not being able to do much of substance.

 

Not in his control that he got injured but its not about ability. its about what you did that will be remembered. He did take 5 wickets in the four matches he played but India was probably looking for all round performance from him in critical matches but he is not available. 

 

Jadeja is available and performing. So he wins this WC 2023 battle with Pandya.
