IndiaWC8311 Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 Like I said no comparison doesn;t matter the format jadeja is levels above Pandu Also if you consider Jadeja is pretty much always available while Pandu has to be wrapped in cotton wool, it's a no-brainer cricspirit and SRT100 1 1
Adamant Posted October 20, 2023 Author Posted October 20, 2023 Uptil now it looks like Jadeja has done better than Pandya. Also Pandya won’t be playing the next match at least, chances of Pandya taking thelead looks bleak
Lord Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 Good video on importance of Pandya,Jadeja and even Thakur SRT100 and AuxiliA 1 1

IndiaWC8311 Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 With each passing day, this comparison looks worse and worse. it's like comparing Kapil Dev to Sanjay Bangar or Reetinder Singh Sodhi Jadeja is levels ahead bat or bowl or fielding, irrespective of format - ODI, T20, test cricket
putrevus Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Again showed why he is so important for the team. Can he score 100 from 50 balls like Klassen, no but he sure can do what he did today on regular basis. cricspirit and Lord 1 1

Dint let them run with the game too much. Bowled 10 economical overs in one spell. I think he serves more with his bowling in Indian conditions. putrevus 1
cricketfan28 Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 jadeja is doing well so far, he will continue , but i think pandya will edge with some out of world performances in the knockouts.

Batting is real issue especially if Hardik misses out. So far not required but can suddenly be required in big game. They should ideally give some batting time to him, Ashwin,Thakur step in the right direction. Was very calm under huge pressure

Vijy Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 great day for jaddu today with ball, with bat, and in the field. Lord and cricspirit 2
cricspirit Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Pandya's world cup is over. He ended up not being able to do much of substance. Not in his control that he got injured but its not about ability. its about what you did that will be remembered. He did take 5 wickets in the four matches he played but India was probably looking for all round performance from him in critical matches but he is not available. Jadeja is available and performing. So he wins this WC 2023 battle with Pandya. SRT100 and Vijy 1 1
cricketfan28 Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Contest is abandoned, but I think jadeja would have won.
