I'm sure as days go by, the responses and threads will slow a lot, natural slow down to virtual standstill. Still once in a while, news and articles on IPL will crop up and will be posted here. No need to shut anything - free speech.

fineleg Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 No, dont close the forum. There will be news and articles for next months, and instead of posting them in Cricket Forum, let them be under the IPL forum itself. It will slow down naturally over time.
The Outsider Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 The whole point behind having a separate IPL forum was to avoid other cricket threads and posts from getting obscure on the 2nd-3rd pages immediately in the flood of IPL posts - that won't happen now so the entire forum can just be merged with the cricket forum. As ba$tardized as it is, IPL is still cricket. Not worth having users going to two different forums anymore when they login.

The IPL forum should be frozen like the Old Match Threads forum. It will be opened when the IPL comes around next.

fineleg Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Shwetabh, Leave it separate. There are many threads, and it is easier to "search" later, and find etc with separate forum. No need to merge and make it difficult to find, and post in future. This folder organization is good :thumbs_up:
