SF 2 :- Aus vs RSA

 

So, are India winning the semi final this time?

Defeating NZ twice in the same World Cup will take some doing. After that there will be an Aussie challenge in the Finals. Even after performing so well so far the road ahead looks challenging .

meeting AUS in SF would be difficult. likewise for NZ. need to meet SA ideally on spin pitch

Yes of course, generally hate one sided games except maybe a one off T20 or useless bilateral ODI. World cup games should ideally have balanced, if not slightly bowler friendly pitches.

India's truly bad day is yet to come. It tends to happen in knock outs. It is a pattern. Wc 2015, t20 2016, wc ct2017, wc2019 etc

2015 wasn't a bad day.

 

There was no way we were defeating Australia. We got to semis cause our group was easy plus Bang QF.

2015 semi, 2022 semi - we would never have won with that bowling

 

2014 final, 2016 semi - should have gone harder. easiest to have won.

 

2017 CT, 2019 WC - had weaknesses which were exploited

AUS has 3 easy games coming up which I believe they can win and improve their NRR. In comparison NZ has harder games and they may not even win all of the three. I expect NZ to end up at No.4

 

IND or SA will top the table so they wont play each other in Semi final.

 

IND will be playing either AUS or NZ and I am expecting us to play NZ by being at top of the table. 

 

Semi 1 - IND V/S NZ

Semi 2 - AUS V/s SA

 

Either way, we need two perfect games with some luck to Win the cup. Semi Final is the bigger hurdle than the FINAL.

both will be hard. NZ won't be easy in SF, and Aus is getting better (unfortunately)
