They all can hold the bat & can play supporting role,  but power hitting is a different skill,  Abhishek , Molia, Saumya are not power hitters

India steamrolled new zealand, that was a spanking !! It seems like 2 games will be the toughest they would face in the tournament & both will be knock outs, after white washing everyone, wonder what pressure would it be in the Semis & Finals if they reach..

Why should India and Pakistan be forced to play in the same group even in U19 WC? Chutiyapa hain yeh.

i always feel Arshin Kulkarni is being wasted as an opener..should make use of his reach and power in MO..

Yes that seems right considering he doesn’t look an opener by any standards in these conditions, some shots he plays , he looks like a hack, doesn’t cover the swing and backs across the line.. He should come down the order in these conditions… Somebody like a Moliya can be an opener, god knows why he bats at a crucial position on 5/6 . Even the commentators were surprised to see Moliya at that position and were suggesting Kulkarni to play down the order, seems the team management has other ideas, but clearly this move isn’t working as kulkarni has hardly made an impact other than one innings…

moliya can be a test-type batter. lacks power and gap placement, but is compact. has v. good FC record too

I see a limitation in his batting, he seems to prefer leg side a lot and hardly scores on off side when going for runs, seems a big limitation  for a batsmen with first class experience..

he is still fairly young. hopefully, he can improve. otherwise, yes, he will become a hack

Saharan ko hi bhej dete hain..his strike rate is poor..but defends well..atleast if he and Adarsh give solid start..Musheer and Kulkarni can score briskly in the middle..or may be send Moliya in MO in pace of Saharan if he opens..for some stability...we need more power in lower MO..which Arshin can provide playing older ball..

Musheer,Arshin,Sachin and Aravelly can give good power to MO\lower MO

musheer is not a power player, but is well suited for no. 4

They were not in the same group in the league stage, they are in super 6.

It is u19. You don't need power. They are scoring quickly enough for this level. Boundaries are big and 250 is usually a winning total at u19 level. T20 dekh dekh kar common sense khatam ho gaya hai logo ka.

India lost matches defending 250 against pakistan in asia cup.. It’s not good enough if you need to defend a title against MEN as in the asian countries , if you know what i mean.

And why not to best utilise resources if they are available? I see lot of common sense in that, it’s a valid opinion looking at other teams.
