Even if you don't drop miscues etc will run away all over the park, you can't set field to them.

Ofcourse you can if you are smart. Most of them are leg side hacks specially when injured. Weaknesses can be identified easily by a good team.

If Aus win the cup then this  Maxi knock will be immortalized

Huh ...how ?

This was a dead rubber for Aussies. They were going to be 2/3 anyway for the semis regardless of the outcome of this game.

See how he was ably supported by Cummins on the other end.

Jadeja screwed us twice by getting Dhoni run out in SF against NZ and Hardik against Pak.

Hardik in particular was in similar form and would have won that Pak game if not for Jadeja running him out.

Small things like this matter.

Jadeja almost ran out kohli as well  this wc v nz

Jadeja got Dhoni out after getting out himself. Things you learn at ICF :hatsoff:

I'm talking of big innings. 30-40 run cameos happen all the time even in Tests.

You won't see hacks like Fakhar/Maxwell do this in Test even on their best day.

Exactly, so its not like on their day they can do anything. Such hacks benefit from poor bowling/drops etc. All they have is hitting technique and power.

Haven't we seen like 100s of such innings in the IPL :)   Maxie basically played an IPL innings.

You are right but if you saw that innings Jadeja didn't stick around long enough.

lol Jadeja was the one who got 77. Infact if anything it was Dhoni who got him out by his tuk tuk when RR was above 12.

What i am saying is at Wankhede many such innings were witnessed during the IPL. Once the dew forms it is all you can eat buffet for these kind of guys.

@vvvslaxman  - Pls can you change your profile DP from Pat Cummins holding a trophy to Rohit Sharma holding some trophy ?

It may have some impact.  Lets not take any chance given how Aussies play in clutch matches.  Thanks !

Yes very tough to bowl normally. But still Afg should taken advantage of his injury and bowled offside. Cummins wasn't threatening.

Yes I did, you said they are unstoppable against anyone on their day didn't you? Then giving examples of cameos or vs poor bowling attacks lol
