Ist time centuries scored in both semi-finals of a world cup in losing causes?

In no world cup semi-finals have 2 spectacular centuries been scored in losing causes as in 2023.Both Mitchell and David Miller scored scintillating hundreds,with teams in dire straits.

David Miller performed in 2015 WC semi final also and ended up on losing side.

ABD maybe batted well but choked with the Captaincy - could not even defend 300 in 43 overs with bowling lineup of Steyn, Morkel, Tahir, Philander .... against Elliot, Corey Anderson.

 

Faf was way too slow in that innings with SR of 70, whereas Miller scored almost at 300 SR

I had high hopes for Klassen but he has disappointed big time! And Rassie also.

Then bowlers choked.

 

But yeah, hard to point out anything against Miller as he played two top knocks in two ODI WC knockouts.
