samson is expert against minnow bowling. He will usually play 1-2 good shots against good-great bowlers but a minnow bowling basher of the highest order.

Not always and not at every venue. 

 

These post 2020 versions of the kookaburra are very good though .

 

You can hit through the line in perfectly flat conditions but they keep the bowlers in the game even if the conditions are only slightly conducive to seam/swing.

Agreed. But I an just talking about our batting vs full strength. Wonder if they are good enough to score 250 plus on this pitch even if they play full strength while we operate with our third string bowling.
