I was not talking about him making the difference for the team. As soon as he is out, he has started airing dirty laundry in public.

 

He could give that assessment in a report to PCB. These statements are all made to take the blame off him for the disastrous tours.

Mickey Arthur was the head coach and as Hafeez says, he and babar didn't listen to him. It's like someone asking the director to hold dhoni or Kohli responsible, never gonna happen.

 

Also he was director for barely 2 months, Pak has lost in Aus for over 30 years, no one going to blame Hafeez for not changing that in 2 months, he doesn't need to make any excuses when he wasn't given time.

You still are not getting it. These things don't have to come into press.They are coming out after he fired to make him look good and he can get job in media and preach country on how he always puts country first.

These things come out now as he didn't want to publicly air the difference while in charge for obvious reasons, he still had hope he can change things and it would be a conflict of interest to attack the player while being a PCB employee.

 

But now he feels public deserves to know the truth or these superstars will keep getting away with it. I don't see any contradictions.

What happens in the dressing room does not have to come out in public.Only reason they are coming out is he wants to be blameless in public eye as he is interested in media job.

 

As a coach players trust you to keep things confidential .

You maybe dont follow Pakistan cricket because this sort of pettiness, axe grinding etc is very common. You see some nuggets of truth being dropped at such times. 

What checks out is that in this time Azam khan  made it back into the team and the only place to hide him was behind the stumps as a WK.
