Indian youngsters are shockingly poor in terms of fielding. You would expect them to get better with improved facilities. (They all are also 1D, batters can't bowl, bowlers can't bat)

 

The previous generation of Kaif-Yuvi-Raina were much better. Earlier generations(90s,00s) had better AR skills too.

Axar is a useful catcher.

Lol we will see comedy fielding in wc. We have greats like chahal, rohit, pand the * wont even slide in international cricket but jumps like karate kid for MI, then we thambhe dube, he dsnt even bend down. Then arsedeep less said the better about him and avesh the hero he twirls around a skier catch n wont be anywhere near the ball. Im cancelling ny game with amex as fraud charge by bcci.

That's not an excuse. These IPL youngsters have access to everything now which the previous generations didn't. They are also rich enough to even afford personal coaches. 

 

Our fielding has shockingly gone down in the past 7-8 years. Not to mention AR skills.

 

The onus is on the individual players to improve. Looks like the already satisfied with IPL fame & money and lack the fire to excel internationally.
