 He was part of the third test by the way in that series. Kohli went missing for 3 tests. India won 2 of them and drew one. In the MCG test he took 6 for 110 for the match (4 for 56 & 2 for 54) a test that India won without Kohli with Bumrah. That was also a reason why India won the series. So Bumrah did play ap art in that series win.

The BCCI doesn't care about trophies; all it cares about is marketing and branding, which guys like Rohit bring on.

So true. That's why brand and name recognition trumps performances. There's no other reason why folks like Rohit, Siraj, Jadeja etc. will get into the team ahead of Abhishek, Rinku, Nattu/Bhuvi.

That is simply not true, I don't understand why people keep blaming BCCI. Did they ask Dravid and Rohit to meddle with pitch for world cup finals.

 

 

I don't agree to this notion that India is loaded with talent .Somehow it is being stopped from winning trophies by wrong selections only.

 

I am in minority but I feel Rohit will do far better than people are expecting him to do in world cup.
