The vulnerabiitiy of a mafia don who is used to dominating others around him, and to lose out to sensuous interactions with  a nubile nurse who takes care of him when he's injured. 

Agneepath - Amitabh and Madhavi .  Does that qualify @BacktoCricaddict?

DCH yes.

Nishabd was a creepy copy of Jeremy Irons’s Lolita which itself was a disturbing movie. RGV has no skill or nuance to make it for Indian audiences. Bad movie overall

Kubrick made Lolita (1962) too. Yeah, not the film that I would like to watch (unless to see something for a change). 
 

PS And I have no idea what Nishabd is! (Maybe forgotten about that film now). I am not sure if I would want to know about it if it is based on Lolita.

Btw, talking about love stories in films that are not necessarily seen as romantic ones, I like the Shammi-Asha love story in Teesri Manzil (1966), which is considered mostly as a mystery film, for its entertainment value  including songs. 
 

In a way, it is Hitchcockian where it blends various elements including romance and comedy in a mystery set up.
