Hopefully this is the year Neeraj Chopra creates history by becoming the first Indian to win 2 individual golds, that too in athletics. Hope for many positive stories from Paris in 2 months time, including in men's hockey. Hopefully first woman's gold by Nikhat Zareen in boxing. 

 

All pressure on cricket now. 2021 had the BGT triumph to rival our best ever Olympics, anything less than world cup triumph will downgrade Indian cricket's image. 

Let's not forget hockey. Golds there (men and women) that would be an amazing moment!!

Men can still medal. Problem there is too many games against Aussies in last one year and they mentally broke us.

they not only look broken, but also disorganized, sluggish, unsychronized, etc. I think even an early-ish exit is feasible :(

Defence looks good, fitness is there, structure is there. But may not be enough against the big 4 (Aus, Bel, Neth, Ger).

What big shakeup? It is going to come up anyways even if India wins the tournament.   This is the end of the lifecycle for atleast 2-3 players in T20 and even the coach.

We've been saying that since the last 3 tourneys and yet here they are. If Rohit and Kohli say they want to play till 2027 WC, whom do you think will drop them? Nepo-baby Shah will probably anoint Rohit Sharma captain for the 2027 WC with Kohli as his deputy.
