Cricketics
He is bowling rite now.. looks okay bowler. decent. have seen him bowl in few FC games a while back.. was never a fan of his. so whats the channel for him in international cricket u guys feel?? here to stay in aussie side??? Link to comment
King Tendulkar
Very average. The decline of the aussies continue. They now have one of worst spinners in the world, who barely turns it. Sachin and co will chew him up and spit him out with disdain. THE AUSSIE DECLINE IS IN FULL FLOW Link to comment
Sachinism
shiv just took him apart lol Link to comment
Dirty_South
lol@ dsr BTW...Beau is not so impressive.....but no other option for the Ozzies.... Link to comment
King Tendulkar
lol@ dsr BTW...Beau is not so impressive.....but no other option for the Ozzies.... Exactly! spin cupboard is bare as the tortoise chanderpaul smashes him out of the attack. Warne, Hogg and Macgill could have played for next 40 years if this is the next cab on the rank! zubinpepsi
so only Brett lee and Stuart Clark r the bowlers for OZ... i hope we rip them apart in oct Link to comment
Dirty_South
lol.... What happened to Nathan Hauritz ? I think he played in that low scoring test match against us....was pretty impressive....haven't seen/heard of him since then ! Link to comment
varunparkal
Hes average i guess he will improve as he keeps on playing. Link to comment
Predator_05
Cameron White and Dan Cullen aren't that good, so they will just have to stick with him and pray that he develops into a useful bowler. I'd say spin bowling in general is on the decline. Only Sri Lanka (since they found Mendis) and to a lesser extent, India, will continue to use spin bowling in the future. Link to comment
chanakya
please please take a fiver in the second innings. We want him in the side when Aussies visit India as their front line spinner. Link to comment
satishg
lol looks like the aussies need Shane Warne more against us than the Poms..haha but Warney is too clever he knows that he cant do anything against us thats y he said he wud not mind coming back against the poms whom he can bowl at sleep and pick wickets at ease..Aussies are gonna get OWNED big time in Oct..god save Punter he is gonna run out of complaints :hysterical: Link to comment
fineleg
too early to say Aus will be pwned in oct 08. Their fast bowlers will be the main attack. even in india. Link to comment
SachDan
Beau Cason is just another fill up bowler..But even their three men pace bowlers are good enough to destroy our batting line up...so i don't think they'll miss a quality spinner. Link to comment

They will fully rely on pace bowlers. If India can produce pitches that turn and help spinners a lot, lot more (first day turner ) than pacers, then :two_thumbs_up: in Oct 08 Just play Kumble, Bhajji and one more spinner (Chawla, Amit Mishra...) 1 pacer + 3 spinners and finish the Ozzies Link to comment
msb1991
BTW...Beau is not so impressive.....but no other option for the Ozzies.... They could pick Bryce McGain. Link to comment
Gambit
He started off bowling quite short yesterday and wasn't really getting the ball to rip but there was one over that he bowled to Chanderpaul(before the 18 run lashing) where he got good turn and bounce. If he bowls more overs like that, he will do some damage. I think he'll take a few in the 4th innings. Link to comment
King
Shane Warne's first game figures were 45-7-150- 1 Muralitharan's first test match figures were 17-2-32-1 and 34-7-109-2 Anil Kumble's first match figures were 43-7-105-3 and 17-3-65-0 None of them had terrific starts. I think it is way too early to judge any player based on the first game. I did that with Ishant Sharma and I know I was made to eat my words :-D Link to comment
King Tendulkar
I am judging him and he is pants. I can give stats of players who had a rubbish start and were proved to be rubbish! Link to comment
Desi Cartman
I am a better bowler than him ,,, Cant wait for OCT :yay: Link to comment
theguyinallblue
didn't see him in the match...but if he is the best aussies can offer...then fine...we will see... Australia will struggle at least in Indian Sub-continent ....without a quality spinner...on 4th and 5th days... Link to comment
