Not for reaching finals... Rohit has been an exceptional leader and leading by example. He has literally walked the talk about batting with intent irrespective of his stats. Bumrah OTOH has been exceptional and has the best performance by a pacer (in terms of ER) in a WT20 ever.

 

There's no guarantee they'll win it but these two sure deserve it the way  they've led the team and performed in the tourney

Citations needed. Rohit over ABDV in shorter format is still debatable but the first comment about Kohli greater than SRT is a joke and I doubt any person other than blind Kohli bhakats believe it.

Hardik has been rock solid. He could get his bowling a bit tighter when under pressure but other than that, he's thrown the kitchen sink at this world cup. He has been the best fast bowling allrounder in this campaign.

He showed up and generally does. People don't admit it but we never really recovered from Pandya's absence in 2023 WC. Pandya is not the most likeable character and I get it why he gets the hate with his cringe attitude. But he shows up often when chips are down. Has always showed up against Pak, was the reason we managed a total against Eng in WT20 SF in 2022. The balance he lends to the side is something nobody can bring to the side.

We didn’t have to do anything before the World Cup started other than one selection of Chahal  . Other selections were been fine. It is the coaching that is very rigid, what was the point of sending Jadeja to face spinners and let Dube hit against fast bowlers.

 

There is no rule that playing XI has to be same in all matches. Shami would have been sitting on the bench if Pandya didn’t get injured during 50 over World Cup.

 

Dravid has been a useless coach.They have been winning despite of his coaching.

They won yesterday but it doesn’t absolve horrific blunders are Dravid.

I agree with you. One of the worst coaches of all time. Dravid is a loser. We need a foreign coach if you want to win icc titles consistently. We have been a top side for the entire decade bur fell short in icc events in the very last stages.

No oandya and pant is the reason why we lost the final. Also choking from pannauti kl. If kl wasn't there we would have won. Also instead of siraj we could have picked any young gen bowler and we would win. So many were there. Harshit, kuldeep Sen who has Low average in list A, mayank whatever. Or he'll even arshdeep.
