Also the GOAT ASIAN TEST CAPTAIN And that’s the bottom line Yes he is the goat test captain. No doubt. Not just India's. He is top 3 goat test captain easy. His team is greater than smith's team of 2005 to 2013 era But in LOI he wasn't a good captain. Goat white ball player? Better than richards, abd, bevan and GreenRidge?

Richards is in contention for sure. Pls take a look at abd’s t20 international record. Even in odis Kohli has Abd beat coz of yhe number of iconic knocks, worldcup and Champions trophy performances. Bevan? He is not in contention bro Greenidge record in odis is not that great, look at his str rate,Zaheer Abbas was a better odi bat, again not in contention. Kron 1

Anant narayan of cricinfo did a stat check for greatest odi players. Think kohli came third. This was in 2022 But might have changed after the WC. Yea zaheer abbas is underrated. Statistically he had insane numbers. But he was weak vs bounce. I remember very well him struggling vs pace and bounce. Kohli abd is close in odi. Virat had better teams in 2019 and 2023 But abd had a better team in 2015 India were slightly better in 2011. Hard to compare. Both great players. In tests yes kohli is goat Asian captain. Greater than imran Khan easily. Probably top 3 of all time. Only punter and Lloyd are better It's a shame kohli couldn't win a wtc although is a joke format tbh.
Need4Speed Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 Kohli is a chasemaster for sure and has good mental strength…I have been his admirer…He fights and is agressive.. However, He shouldnt have played the last T20 wcup imo at the place of Jswal.. He was POTM in finals and I am very happy for him and us but still he wouldnt be in my t20 xi..
Praveen 06 Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 Definitely loi atg Only player to win 3 icc trophies n 3 Pott in icc tournaments.

The likes of Root, Williamson are filling up their stats by scoring against hapless teams like Pakistan on highways and against weak team in home, Kohli needs to go big against the Bangladeshs, I wish we get some grass on the pitch and some help for the pacers. Goat Asian captain and the third greatest captain of all time in general. Test cricket he is only behind Lloyd and punter. He revolutionised the Indian bowling attack and made them fearsome It's so unfortunate that he couldn't win that stupid wtc thing though even if it's a farce tournament.

Agreed. Get shami harshit mayank (if his body is ok) Some game time on spicy pitches. Make it bouncy and spongy. Get their confidence up. Fly off to aus. If we go 2 nil up vs kiwis just give them a extremely spicy pitch for the third game lol to troll them.

Anyways it's icc trophy, winning icc trophy is good for legacy. Kron 1

That too in fukn England. I blame bcci. Chutiya made us play in England right after IPL when we were tired. Had no prep. Anyway his team was number 1 for 5 years straight. 5 test maces. That's >>> stupid wtc. I still want to win one lol though Edited July 25, 2024 by Kron Praveen 06 1

But that could be due to poor bowling attack. Give sacchu 2015 to 2022 bowling attack of india and he would plunder and mutilate teams. He was much better technically than virat. temperament wise? mental toughness wise? Sachin is ala roger Federer with tons of natural ability. kohli is more djokovich like, sheer endurance and mental toughness?
Vk1 Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 (edited) Unfortunately Kohli might get trolled badly after retiring. Kohli made his biggest contribution in odi cricket and in another 5-10 years we will see quite a few batsmen with 60+ average( inevitable). Absolute nobody's are averaging close to 50 these days. Kohli at this precise point is also definitely below Sehwag in test format and is neck and neck with VVS. If Kohli keeps this up, by the time he retires he will be equivalent of Ganguly in test cricket.

Kohli has never shown that ability. Edited November 9, 2024 by Ultimate_Game Muloghonto 1

Problem with Kohli is same as Amla or ABDV. Averaging 60 is all well and good but in shorter formats, performances in ICC knockouts and finals matter much more. What's the point of averaging in 60 and chasing all those totals in bilaterals when you go missing at the crunch. I would rather take a batsman averaging in 40s who shows up in big matches. Someone like Gambhir, Dhawan or Travis Head. Vk1 1
