SRT is not even in the same ball park as Kohli in whiteball cricket as batsman.

Kohli was always miles ahead.Kohli's game is perfect for 50 overs. Even with his 3 year drought Kohli showed why he is GOAT in Nov 2023.

Kohli is a GOAT in ODI but giving the example of Nov 2023 is downright stupid.

We lost the final because of him and KL stat padding and almost lost the semis.

How did he stat pad are you out of your mind.

He was scoring at 85 plus SR , before he got out to very unlucky shot.

He got at 148/4  in 29th over. India score 240 and tt is Kohli's fault.

That final showed why Kohli was fighting to stay one end all thru out that world cup. There was noone who could be trusted after him.

Still, not even close to his top 50 innings in ODIs and you quote that as an example

India got lucky it was South Africa not Australia. His knock would have lost India the cup. He waited till he finished his 50 and went after bowling. Axar and dube had better strike rate than him. We were 15 runs short on this wicket. Klassen chocked and got out wrong time when they needed 30 of 30 with 6 wickets in hand. Anyone who says he says his knock won India should introspect. We were only 4 wickets down till 17th over he could have started hitting in 15th over but delayed. We weren’t collapsing after 15 th over if they use collapse as excuse.

I meant he was great thruout that world cup. He was the rock which India could depend on almost every match.

Finals he could not get it done but noone was there to pick him up.

I don't think he played any spectacular innings thruout that world cup .His role to keep one end going.

Australia very well lucky too in world cup finals that Rohit and Kohli got out to nothing deliveries. Otherwise that finals was gone by the time they came to bat.

Luck plays a vital role in winning world cups.

Often you make your own luck with brilliant cricket in big moments. India did it today when all was lost.

I don't think so even, today, SA lost more than India won it.

That day also Aussies were just lucky they got away with so many mistakes.

You stand corrected. Kohli scored 54 off 63 balls. KL Rahul scored 66 off 105. Kohli was fine and he like in todays match aiming for par score of 280.

Statpadding is an abusive word when you are using in the wrong context.

Well would you mind if someone reminds you that he was "stat padding" in SF vs NZ then? That was the worst or second worst Innings from us that game!
