This list was not my wishlist entirely but consist mainly of pacers who are currently selected for India with only 2 pacers who have either got fast bowling contract or atleast is a net bowler currently.

He is tall, bowls heavy ball at 135-140, can bowl long spells. Accuracy can be a question but is just 21 years old, so after this season he will improve even further. express bowling 1

rkt.india Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 We wouldn't even have many 6'5 or more people in India let alone fast bowlers who bowl at least fast medium 135-142 range consistently. We do have some young tall bowlers but they don't have the pace. Prince Badiani and Divyanshu Singh from Mumbai, both 6'6. Divij Mehra 6'5 from Delhi who bowls 120-125. Dhanush Gowda 6'5 from Karnataka. Nishant Saranu as well. There is one Samant Jakhar from Haryana. Rahul Nain from delhi.

The younger generation have quite a few really tall fellas.

Having Taller batsmen will immensely help our T20/ODI team. express bowling 1

The younger generation have quite a few really tall fellas. It's not just about numbers. Those numbers have to be playing cricket and then ones who are playing, not all of them would be fast bowlers, and then who become fast bowlers should be able to hit 140kph. Only one such bowler who does that currently is Gurnoor. None else and I have followed Indian fast bowlers religiously from u16 itself. It's a rare commodity in indian cricket. We have had more bowlers hitting 150 kph than bowlers who are 6'5 and hitting 140+ speeds. Ishant did that in the past. Ishant debuted in 2008 and in 16 years how many indian 6'5 bowlers bowled 140+ kph! So as much as we think Mayank is a rare commodity, or Umran or Kartik, Gurnoor Singh Brar too is as much a rare commodity if not more. Edited October 7, 2024 by rkt.india Need4Speed and putrevus 2
