Why care about Spanish?

When will India become like China? Probably never.

If India wins 4-5 gold medals, that it self is a huge achievement

I don't care about any other country. Just an observation.

So many UEF. Tsitsipas really becomes constipated under pressure

Nole is doing nothing special. This Greek clown is clowning around, mental saala.

Nole risking his knee for the elusive Olympic gold medal. I think he is ready to end his career here in Paris just to win the one thing missing in his resume.

Knee injuries are the worst, absolute career killers. It is what ended Federer's hopes of comeback. Nole's end may be similar, @Real McCoy @I6MTW, watching the tennis?

Djokovic was down and out in the second set before the pain killers kicked in and Tsitsipas choked, being the absolute mug that he is. Djokovic was there for the taking. Anyway, if the knee is as bad as the way he presents it, I don't see him beating Musetti. However with Nadal and Djokovic, we've learned never to trust them as they overstate their injuries ad nauseam. I will believe Djokovic's injury is serious when he starts losing to mugs left, right and centre, thereby ending his career. He has done this many times at the AO, hamstring, abdominal tear, etc but going on to win it.

Musetti has a chance, since clay is his best surface. The question remains whether he is mentally up for it.

Bro, he literally had a knee surgery after RG. His aura is enough for these mentally weak guys, Alcaraz will rip him to shreds if they meet in the final.

Sync diving is all fine… but why? Why do they have to dive together in sync? Stupid sport.

And? He made the final of Wimbledon, he would've beaten anybody on tour except Alcaraz.

Same goes in BO3 clay. Less physical than Bo5. He can beat anyone not named Alcaraz.

And, I won't trust Alcaraz against Djokovic on clay, we all know what happened in RG last year. Alcaraz cramping or getting injured while Djokovic's body holds up, is a significant possibility.

Musetti actually cares. That is the difference between Musetti and Tsitsi.

Tsitsi has said he is fine with not winning a slam and it was making him unhappy. Dude gave up on his slam dreams long back and his backhand is troublesome against top guns.

Musetti's backhand is also on the same level as Tsitsi. He likes to slice more. So Novak will have to bend more.

Musetti's backhand is better than Tsitsipas. He reminds me of Gasquet. Of course, like Gasquet, Musetti's entire game is average without any significant weapons. His mentality is also average, not that far off from Tsitsipas. And like him, clay is his best surface. He has troubled Djokovic on clay though ,numerous times, especially in Paris, even beating him in MC iirc. He has his chances, especially if Djokovic's knee is as bad as he says it is. However, in this current era and weak field, I wouldn't be surprised if Musetti leads 5-1, and Djokovic manages to break back and snatch the set.

Djokovic is not beating Sinner either.

Zverev/Meddy shall have 40 percent chance to win against Djokovic.

Yeaa, but Sinner is not a factor outside of HC to reach the latter stages consistently yet.

Meddy and Zverev also can lose to anyone these days, thereby not reaching Nole.

Hell no. You cannot compare Gasquet's BH with Musetti's BH.

Gasquet's BH is probably the best one handed BH on tour. Better than Fed and Stan.

Musetti's BH is his weakness. He likes to slice 60-70 percent on his backhand. His slice BH might exasperate Djokovic's knee.:phehe:

Musetti had a great one handed topspin BH, but recently he likes to slice it, giving the impression that his BH is the weaker wing.

I don't think Musetti's BH is that bad. Of course it's not as great as Gasquet's but it has a resemblance I feel.

I still feel Wawrinka had the best power and topspin BH, and Federer the best slice BH.

Gasquet is there at the top, but I don't think it was the best. It just seemed better because the rest of his game, especially his FH paled in comparison.

Hard disagree. Sinner is a threat everywhere.

He lost a 5 set semis against Alcaraz in RG. How is that not going deep in clay?

Sinner lost against Meddy in 5 sets Wimbledon. He was sick/injured there.

Sinner still needs to be more consistent at the natural surfaces. He underperformed during the clay lead-up to RG. He is stronger on grass I'll give you that. But, he has always under delivered when facing top 5-top 10 opponents on the surface. Losses to Djokovic, Medvedev, etc

Sinner is a different beast after 2023 indoor Hard court swing.

You are talking history. Since 2023 indoor Hard court swing, Sinner is killing everywhere except clay.

I am willing to bet Sinner never loses to Djokovic here on out unless he is injured.

I feel we've already seen the best of Sinner, I could be wrong though. From 2023 Indoor HC swing to 2024 NA HC season was peak Sinner. Sinner had a height disadvantage. He's actually 6'4 in reality, based on standing with other players. He's not exactly 6'2. He seems taller. Height disadvantage will not allow taller tennis players to dominate for extended periods of time.

Sinner was done with Meddy after the first 3 sets in Wimbledon 2024. His illness was bothering him. He gets sick a lot.

The best of Sinner is yet to come. Djokovic is pretty much done for this year after today's match. He might give a walkover against Musetti.

I actually think Sinner is the toughest match up for Djokovic more than Alcaraz.

But the better tennis player is Carlos Alcaraz with all that variety.

Alcaraz-Sinner is the rivalry matchup to follow for the next decade or so. But I feel it'll be similar to Nadal- Federer or Djokovic - Federer in terms of pigeoning in slams. Sinner beating Alcaraz in the occasional BO3 but Alcaraz edging out Sinner in slams most of the time.

Meddy is 6 5' and never gets injured.

Zverev is 6 6' and he is usually good except that ankle roll that sidelined him for 1.5 years.

I think Sinner is 6 2'. Not 6 4'

Sinner definitely needs more variety in his game. Right now he looks like a Berdych- lite version playing in a weaker era.
