china and japan are masters at copying and developing the produts they have copied. briliant at that.

We are not that far off though. I'd say 20 years. Their metros and shinkansens mostly happened in the late 00s/10s.

 

one it starts, everything changes in 10-15 years.

 

now metros are exploding across india. the bullet train i expect first one (mumbai-ahmedabad to be done in late 20s). Then 30s it will expand.

yes not that tough cause it is not a major sport in most countries.

 

so a slight increase in interest with growing spending power can make us more powerful - on/off field

 

last two wcs were in india.

These guys have improved a lot.

 

Some like Lalit, Manpreet have declined. Some big names from Tokyo batch retired or out of scheme of things.
