bharathh Posted August 6, 2024 Author Posted August 6, 2024 Nope can't better his first throw. He will struggle to qualify with his 80.73m best throw.
bharathh Posted August 6, 2024 Author Posted August 6, 2024 In 8th place now after the Romanian crosses 81m.

bharathh Posted August 6, 2024 Author Posted August 6, 2024 Seeing Vadlech and Weber though - doubtful if Neeraj will win without a 90+m throw in the finals anyways. Even to medal looks like 90+ will be required.
nitinbwj Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Neeraj will have tough competition from Weber,Yego,Wadlech,Nadeem,Peters
randomGuy Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Almost No chance jena... Tokyo Olympics qualification was 82.x...jena would have finished 15 as per Tokyo Olympics...and here, probably worse.

Not sure if Peters is in the same form though. He is capable of monster throws though.. let's see in the second group.
bharathh Posted August 6, 2024 Author Posted August 6, 2024 Max Dehning of Germany the only player with a 90+m throw this season. In the second group.

bharathh Posted August 6, 2024 Author Posted August 6, 2024 Not so worried about Neeraj qualifying because he trains in Europe and mostly participates in tournaments there only - so should be used to the conditions. More worried about the finals and his competition.

Kron Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Problem with jena is he is not as dense/strong as neetaj Neeraj is built like a tank

putrevus Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 If 90 plus is needed for medal then it would be hard for Neeraj too.
