Yeah - no chance of qualifying for the finals now. Anyways with a Season Best of 80.8 and a best throw of 80.73 - not chance of doing anything better in the finals.

Seeing Vadlech and Weber though - doubtful if Neeraj will win without a 90+m throw in the finals anyways. Even to medal looks like 90+ will be required.

Almost No chance jena... Tokyo Olympics qualification was 82.x...jena would have finished 15 as per Tokyo Olympics...and here, probably worse.

Yego won't go beyond 85m. Not sure if Peters is in the same form though. He is capable of monster throws though.. let's see in the second group.

Max Dehning of Germany the only player with a 90+m throw this season. In the second group.

Not so worried about Neeraj qualifying because he trains in Europe and mostly participates in tournaments there only - so should be used to the conditions. More worried about the finals and his competition.

He appeared to have trouble with the runway. Couldn't time his runup properly. Lack of preparation showing.

If 90 plus is needed for medal then it would be hard for Neeraj too.
