I saw this on Indian news portals. Only opindia reported about BGB and we know their credibility.

 

Unlike you I don't put BSF on a pedestal, most corrupt and morally loose paramilitary force in India. Many of their personnel gain from cross border drugs smuggling, human trafficking etc.

Eastern command BSF has been caught red handed plenty of times for being in cahoots with cross border smugglers. One among several reasons why our Eastern borders are so porous, geography/terrain being the most important reason for sure.

If he were competent he should have cleaned the house with laser eyes and 007 replaced  after exposure in media about conflict of interests due to their family's dealings in the West.  There was some Qatar connection as well that came into light.
