At the time, among all the other batters, Kambli was the only one flinging stuff around. He stood out like a sore thumb.

It was an easy decision for the selectors.

Things may have been different in this day and age.

Seems his mental state is toast.

I see the similarity with SSR, he also kinda lost his mental well being just before death. Was behaving with lot of fidgetness which you don't usually associate with a normal being.

Looks like real Kambli, I guess he has lost most of his money and is now living in an average means.
Too much alcohol, drugs and other harmful substances harm the body a lot, as one grows old their impact is more visible.

Feel really sad for him tbh, he himself must be feeling the same in his lone time, when he see Sachin and his other counterparts living a pretty decent to lavish life.

Life is indeed brutal!

Lots of drinking, maybe drugs as well. He looks like a weak 70+ year old and probably doesn't have much time left on earth. Very sad to see anyone, let alone a once promising cricketer, in this state. 50+ is no age to be a fragile old man.

I don't think Kambli needs money from the BCCI or anyone else; that's secondary.

From the videos it seems to me that what he needs is an immediate intervention from BCCI or some organisation.  Medical assistance, deep care.

I am not a medical professional but to me this is a man near the end of his mental and physical limit. He's unable to articulate clearly, he speaks as if he's losing cognitive ability, and it seems that he may not be fully in control of his body.

I imagine acute alcohol syndrome/ delirium tremens would look like this, or maybe massive drug abuse.

Whatever it is, the damage may be permanent.  It may sound dramatic but I even think his life needs saving.

Seems like this video that went viral was a old video. This interview has more accurate details about his current health

He looks slightly better already than the motor bike video. Hopefully he continues this path, avoids alcohol altogether. And whatever’s reversible, is reversed.

His friend does talk about his health complications.
