Ask coiambatoorians ( I think I got it right) they will tell you, their city has a salubrious 38 deg celcius 'cool' weather, so cool compared to the 44 deg over in Chennai. But is there any fictional border in your mind which you're using to talk about North and South, people are free to go everywhere, right ? Else, why does people from TN come to Hyderabad and ask to speak in English, and not in Deccani or Telugu ? Should we start bashing them as well like a street dog ? Where this will end then ?

Lets not try to go into politics of barbarians, we all know how well behaved folks forced that poor girl to hang herself coz she wasnt ready to convert under pressure by her convent school. That DMK moron's statement on a religion too is enough to thump the mentality.


Understand the logic that greater the area, more the population will be, crimes will also be higher.
Just because the media doesn't report (or under reports) some regions, doesn't mean all izz well there as well.

The greater population is from you guys who have over populated the country and have not controlled it. UP alone will almost equal the 5 states population. You get it???

 

Coming to your example, When a tamil guy goes to AP. What he won't do is ask everyone there to speak Tamil. He will atleast try to learn Telugu or converse in an universal medium i.e English

Why did u leave Goa Sir ? on a latitude level it is below Hyderabad. Does it not "South enough" for you. There Hindi is well understood and spoken.

I'm not sure to what extent you've travelled in India, I've had the opportunity to travel in almost every region of this country (including NE).
Every state will have one or two caveats in terms of language, even within states there are conflicts as well in dialects. But they all come to a common ground to speak and communicate.

Nagpur is a city in Central India (not NORTH), core language is Marathi. But people there talk in Marathi is their day to day life, and use Hindi/English with the people who aren't aware. Forget Nagpur, even small towns like Latur, Jalna, Chandrapur. Same is true in places like Hubbali, Belgavi, Bhatkal, Vizag, Vijayawada, Kurnool etc.

 

Also, sir...since you have restricted South to a small area of India only, population too will be less naturally. UP has more population coz historically people tend to live in those areas where there is constant flow of river. That's why you will hardly find people living in Thar (there is no water there).

Also sir, FYI, no one from North expects people to talk in Hindi. That's just a drama created by regional parties and other external elements for their ulterior motive. People are comfortable in talking whatever language they can depending on the Audience. Historically India has been multi lingual from ages, there are many Marwari's in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai who speak local language with fluency, so people will pickup the language as per their need. No one can force anyone.
