They are playing because Naseem/Shaheen did zilch. If anything Bangladesh missed Shoriful in this test. Ebadot from both tests.  Taskin in the first Test.  Shoriful is from 2020 under-19 world cup batch. Shaheen is from 2018 under-19 batch. Clearly Shaheen is more experienced playing all 3 formats, playing all the leagues.  This is not a new problem. When they let England score 500 runs in a single day they were toothless too.  In your own home conditions you cannot have a team that has not won a single Test in the last 4 series.

Naseem is I understand is young and not that experienced but he's also not worth the hype he's associated with

Produce Garbage bowlers >Hype them to the moon after a couple of decent spells >Said bowlers turn out Garbage in 2 years time> Drop them and replace them with newer garbage bowlers > Use ineggsperience  everytime as an excuse of being pathetic 

 

The only reason you guys perpetually have inexperienced bowling attacks is because you keep dropping one set of useless bowlers for another set on a yearly basis.

Indeed there's heaps of that overhyped cud which Railu-katta Pak cricketers chew up and convert to manure every passing year.

 

On that fertilised ground shall grow the next batch of grass which shall feed the next gen Railu-kattas.......and so on.

Shaheen has 5-6 years of international experience, that's usually the timeframe where it's easier to judge which way a career is going to go. Rabada in his couple of years into the international career was a much respected bowler across formats.

Amir who "theoretically" has 15+ years of experience choked against part time cricketers. So being a veteran isn't the right parameter. 

Shaheen isn't good enough, he may have a bit of performance here and there coz even a broken clock shows right time twice a day, but he isn't a top tier bowler.
