Man they are pinning India's loss on that Run out thing.... Just like I thought they would.  Key issues won't be addressed.

 

Paxtani women must win against us imo for humanity's sake.

They are treated so much worse in a Islamic country than these pampered overhyped limited players.

If we have to lose 2 more (assuming 1 against Aussie beasts guaranteed), hope it is Pakistan and not Lanka. Only a WC loss against Pak can force changes in BCCI power circles, and among media houses who build delusional, rosy narratives about the state of Indian women's cricket.

Jhulan Goswami's boots impossible to fill, IMO our greatest female cricketer. Shikha Pandey too a giant compared to current pace options, but she retired I guess, 35 years old now.

It is all over like in 1950s and 60s where Indian male cricket team were unathletic and slow.

 

There is no comparison between Aussies women and Indian team (majority of Indian team). Aussies look like real athletes.They don't even have their best player Meg Lanning.

 

I don't have problem in them getting paid but this Indian team is not young , most of them are experienced and their bowling after Goswami's retirement is awful.

 

Shefali and Mandhana have they done anything big in any world cups.

If I remember correctly 2016 loss in T20 WC to Pakistan women side proved to be the turning point.

We made the finals in 2017 ODI women WC.

This team needs serious change of guard and personnel & a loss to Pakistan would be a blessing in disguise.

What's the point of winning against them otherwise?

Need to find Pacers who can bowl at least 110+ kmph to be competitive with SENA sides.

Shefali never scores in a big game or tournament... She I guess was even outscored in that sham of a U19 Women WC where she shamelessly led the side despite playing International Cricket for 2 years lol

Smriti just the female Babar Azam. Stat pads against B, C teams in bilaterals, and nothing to show for in ICC events. 

 

Shifali is way overhyped, clicks once in 10 tries and Indian media portrays her as Sehwag equivalent. 

 

Kaur has done very little in last 5 years, pathetic behavior and leadership traits but mollycoddled by BCCI.

We took Jhulan for granted. She was like the McGrath or Ambrose of women's cricket, generational player. Even in her late years, someone like Meg Lanning gave her so much respect, tried to play her out and attack others.

After India is knocked out, will back the Saffer girls. Surely Aus shouldn't walk away with their 7th T20 WC trophy !!!! Eng too have won plenty of big titles, and can't stand Kiwis.

The problem is that the gap between good and poor teams is even larger than on the Men's side. At least in Men's cricket we get to see Afg beat a few, or Ned or B'desh cause an upset. In Women's cricket top teams aren't gonna lose to lower teams at all. It's quite predictable and you can expect to see Aus and Eng face off against each other in the final for the most part.

Even B'desh bowlers are bowling better than India. It's unfortunate they can't bat and chase any total else B'desh-Eng could've been a thriller.
