Think Ind will leave out 2 spinners that will make place for Shami (if fit) and an extra opener. and if they remove 1 more spinner than it will open-up 1 more position Last time ind had 4 spinners and 4 pacers , think that was 17/18 member team We will need 6 to 7 pacers for BGT as there are 5 matches and we will play 4 quicks except Sydney. We will have to rotate to keep them fresh. Lone Wolf and Mosher 2

Siraj is out of form, out of pace and out of place,, We can even adjust Mayank at someone's lace if required.. thats why Harshi and Mayank should have got some Test bowling experience before BGT..if we will need to to rotate bowlers Edited October 22, 2024 by Need4Speed express bowling 1

If Shami is close to fitness..then Bumrah, Shami, Siraj & Akashdeep will the four main pacers..fifth can be a wild card from Mukesh or Yash. Indian squad selection is capable of last minute gymnastics. So anything can happen. But it seems that as of now the planned pacer pool for BGT is Bumrah, Shami, Siraj, Akashdeep, Harshit, Prasidh. Harshit and Prasidh would have definitely been in the A team red ball squad if they were not planned to be selected. Even now they can play the first A team game as it is a custom for some test squad members to play this game. Mosher 1

These guys think they are very well equipped in brain But they are Uber dihati individuals, they must take every possible genuine pacers in Aus ,they must even fly Tyagi,Sen,Gurnoor(no matter how much experienced they are) Remember, last time, we had to play someone like Natrajan who was a T20 specialist untill that time You never know ,who becomes hero Outta nowhere Siraj made his comeback from Aus Outta nowhere express bowling 1

tapandrun Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 (edited) Ind tm and selectors have a habit to select new pacer who does not have much exp. playing in Aus or test cricket. They took in exp. Ishant , recalled Varun and Umesh from nowhere, Siraj made his test debut there. In last 3/4 years they did not develop any pacer. Siraj has declined rather quickly. Right nw they are heavily relying on Bhumrah and hoping Shami makes his come back before BGT somehow. Edited October 22, 2024 by tapandrun
