The Men’s Selection Committee has picked a 15-member India A squad for the upcoming tour of Australia. India A will play two first-class matches against Australia A in Mackay and Melbourne respectively and then take part in a three-day intra-squad game against Team India (Senior Men) in Perth.

So it seems Mayank & Harshit may go to SA for T20 series along side Arshdeep.

This also put any possibilities of Pandya's inclusion for BGT. Nithish Reddy may get nod ahead.

Priyam Garg should also get some chances for India A. He averages 51 in first class cricket. We must give chances to 50+ average first class batsmen for test success. These are 40 odd average batsmen like Padikkal, ruturaj will always be average. For openers, FC batting average should be at least 45.

I dont think they are going to be in BGT.

If Shami is close to fitness..then Bumrah, Shami, Siraj & Akashdeep will the four main pacers..fifth can be a wild card from Mukesh or Yash.

Priyam is a victim of format confusion.

His mediocre performance in T20 and List A has dented his FC chances.

Rinku Singh has also good Ranji experience as he has played 49 matches and has 55 average

There are 5 spinners in the current test squad - Ashwin,  Jadeja , Sundar,  Kuldeep, Axar.

 

Think Ind will leave out 2 spinners that will make place for Shami (if fit) and an extra opener. and if they remove 1 more spinner than it will open-up 1 more position 

Last time ind had 4 spinners and 4 pacers , think that was 17/18 member team

Look at the positives, at least there is no Avesh with Mukesh and Khaleel. The deadly trio is broken.

Mayank & Harshit may fly to SA for the T20 series....

I don't see them in BGT plans. Specially if Shami's fitness is showing positive signs.

 

Prasidh may travel with team as reserves. 

Gurnoor may need to wait. I don't think selectors even know about him, same with Raj Bawa.

 

Tyagi is going down the path of Nagarkoti, Nathu & Mavi...lost into the wilderness. You may see him in his 30's when he will be bowling at 130k.
