Yes. They were. Gungadeens and house negroes are not only Indian or black people phenomena.

Protesters are all over the spectrum. 

 

Some protested against the violence in general, against IDF's over-reach and cruelty, and simply stood in support of the persecuted civilian population of Gaza that is being devastated. All valid reasons to protest. 

 

But within those same protest groups, some individuals took it one step further and protested in favor of Hamas. And that is not excusable.  

 

Having said that, it is also debatable whether or not GotUS took steps to discern who did what before arresting them.

If Pakistan or Bangladesh did what Gaza gormint  did, I would expect India to drop bombs on Lahore and Dhaka too, especially as they keep holding innocent civilians including little children as hostages...

 

And if indians protested Lahore bombing at that time, I want atma of Indira Gandhi to return and shoot those traitors as well.

Simple fact is, Gaza gormint ( hamas) came and kidnapped hundreds of Israeli citizens and kept them hostage while their country is bombed to bits by victim. 

 

That's exactly what I want my gormint to do too : if neighbour gotmint came and kidnaps hundreds or thousands of my citizens, UN charter gives me right to declare war and bomb them back to stone age as long as they keep hostages.

You have a nice concise version of history. I am for a two-state solution, no war , no Hamas. Do you want the same? Million deaths unfortunately is bad, but it is what Palestines have chosen. What was your question? Do we protest 45k deaths after Oct 7th? Yes, it’s very sad and  a consequence of holding Israeli and US citizens and 2 month old kids hostage. It is disproportionate, but who defines that?

The war is a failure. Hamas are still there. Hostages are still kidnapped.
