That news was fake. Although that should logically be his next step or maybe increase Tarrifs.

It will be catastrophic...dont think even Trump will be allowed to go there.

 

For all the jokes aside, Indian IT do have a very stronghold in the US market...and an abruption can potential send the US market as well to deep dark ages.

US wants everyone to buy their products...he reduced his involvement in NATO and asked EU to increase their defence budget and buy arms. Thats not happening the way Trump wanted.

 

Russia oil is cheap which India is buying and then selling it to Europe. While Trump wants to sell its own Oil to the world but it's not ready to reduce its price. Udhar bhi jhatka laga.

 

US Oil, Agro based & Defence Companies are pushing Trump to generate more profit. But he too has very little wiggle room left. Debt bhi badhta ja raha hai.

 

Trump recently was giving threats to Russia and China for the war. Russia may be weaker but it can still damage US severely, combined with China and its a challenge for US specially in the Asia and Asian waters.

There will be no winners if such a decision is taken. All the US technology behemoths drew their enormous valuations from the Indian market. A billion users will simply disappear over the night.

 

We will develop our own Desi versions of YouTube, Google, Facebook, Insta, WhatsApp, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Amazon, Flipkart, Azure cloud,  Amazon web services, Google cloud, etc.

 

Initially own homegrown tech might not look the part but software development is an iterative process and we will eventually get there in a year or two.

 

All these years we've been having a quid quo approach of you provide the jobs to us and we will give you the access to our market. All that will disappear overnight.

 

On my Twitter timeline I daily used to see a new GCC opening everyday. For the past two weeks I am not seeing such news anymore. Everybody seems to be having a wait and see approach with the current geopolitical instability with the US.

Arey kuch nahi hoga, IT stocks will bottom this month or in October max.... maybe lutnick and trump family will be buying at the bottom when all are selling and then strike the trade deal....

If it's zero fck state, they wouldnt be commenting every day. They are genuinely disturbed.

 

Donald Trump is ladder to make priest king into a legend of the fall if he isn't already. If we know anything about priest king, those who go after him do not live to tell the tale. Gandhi family, Congress, Margdarshak mandal and all his opponents have seen it. It's an astrological gift.  It was still the astute thing to do to go after him because they knew what he will become for them. But rest is history. 

 

US getting this entangled with India, a lowly power with multiple constraints will bring them down. All it's taking is silence from India, and the bullies can't take it. People are getting shocked by US response. Vinash kaale viprit buddhi.

IT wala thing toh India today sourced from Peter Navarro about his outsourcing tweet...  It's an assumption as of now but US has way too many levers to pull against us.

Ab to Canada se bhi renegotiation shuru ho gaya USA ka... yesterday Piyush Goyal said he expected a deal in oct november... after the deal, our media will say trump said sorry, navarro will say india said sorry. I maybe wrong but IT stocks are maybe just 10% from bottom.

That's a meme made by some accounts as Modi's beard wali jawline resembles Priest King idol..

 

Realistically speaking US can genuinely do a lot of damage to us if it really goes that way.  They have many levers to pull against us.

I can see if things go really sideways Modi g will opt for safer options.   Nobody wants a destabilized central government at any cost.

Don't know about meme but Well Modi g is practical guy. And India has few levers too. Thing we know is India won't take our progress on his self esteem. We would let them go a little further. This also helps us know how to build our capacity and how much interlinking we can or cannot do. 

 

Either ways, this is nonsense to think that Trump can keep going further without pushback internally. Deep state has stake in the region. Both parties will close this at some point.

Even though India & US problems are much smaller compared to the ones with the CHinese, the minions daily rant makes it impossible to find common ground.

I doubt they will go to that level. Ofcourse I may be wrong but at this moment, all I see this is just a pressure tactic to get a win.

 

They cant arm twist Russia & China...one dont need US and other one can literally pause US. India has less leverage but Indian IT plays an extremely key role in keeping US alive as well. No other country in the world can out match us in terms of services...there is a reason why Trump never talks about services.

 

My guess, a deal will happen eventually. US will reduce/remove the tarrifs...India in turn will give them access to some markets, or maybe appraise his efforts for the Russia-Ukraine war. Russia will capture the invaded territory, Ukraine will become smaller and a non NATO country and Trump will get a nomination for Nobel Prize.

 

India-China-US relations will remain on tight slope...neither countries like each other. But continue to be an opportunist for the near benefit.

That's Geopolitics, whoever comes to power dictate terms.

 

Trump 1 was in favour of India, Trump 2 just made a 180 degree turn and took the relation back by years. Not sure how much effort it will again take to bring it back.

 

Though, this hostility was bound to happen. India's growth would have eventually triggered the superpower. We thought it may happen during the time of democrats, but Trump in his blind obsession for Nobel Prize just burned all the bridges.
