Given the increasing civil unrest in Pakistan currently and  withthe Sri lankan A team pulling out midway through their tour, even a hybrid model might be doubtful and the tournament might end up being moved out of Pakistan.

Not sure about nuking anyone but one day the nukes will fall into the hands of terrorists/jihadists. It's a nightmare scenario and the only thing which gives you some relief is the fact that most probably it won't fire due to lack of proper maintenance. It's probably in the same state as their space program. They're living off begging and charity and I doubt any money made it anywhere other than the corrupt politicians' and army's pockets.

India should put pressure on changing the venue of CT and propose India or SA as the alternate venues due to deteriorating security and law & order situation in Pakistan. Nobody can protect you from jihadists and nutjobs willing to blow themselves up. It's a legitimate concern at this point and not just some hypthetical scenario. The failed state is going the way of Haiti.

 

And we all saw how good Pak "presidential" security is and their capabilities when they could neither protect SL team from an attack, and couldn't even make an arrest and catch the perpetrators. Plus we all saw how good their "security intelligence" is when they couldn't even catch Osama Bin Laden who was living a sone's throw away from their headquarters in Abottabad. Either it was incompetence, or it was collusion. Neither explanation inspires confidence in Pak security and I'm fully aligned with GOI's stance of Indian team not allowed to tour Pak. They'll have a huge target on their backs and I don't trust Pak to protect them.

It should be in Pakistan . India should not go and there should be a SL like attack. IA

This looks more like a warzone than a place to host an intl sporting event. There's no way Pak should be allowed to host it and I'll be surprised if Aus, NZ, UK govts don't have a travel advisory in place advising against visiting Pakistan.
