Gambhir pushing for Yashaswi's inclusion in XI. Good or Bad ??

Jaiswal is the next Tendulkar and his upside is higher than both Ro and Ko as a 3 format star. I would be ok if Jaiswal was being pushed in all 3 formats but Gambhir is fumbling him so far.

Someone higher up in BCCI wants to sabotage this young man's career. Never seen a bright prospect mishandled like this. In which universe are Gill, Kela (even Iyer till a year back) all format stars but not Jaiswal?

Predict he will fade out in 1-2 years time because of the TM and selectors. He should try out his luck in Eng/Aus/NZ where meritocracy has more weightage.

Doesn't really matter what Gambhir pushes for or wants. Agarkar-Rohit duo with the backing of BCCI call all the shots. When someone like Jaiswal couldn't even make it to the squad, everything else is moot.

 

Jaiswal is the best batter in the team and can't find a spot in the squad. Let that sink in. Blame all you want but the system is rotten to the core with no meritocracy. No wonder we've struggled to win ICC tourneys.

- everyone knows that he hits spinners like dube.....

-against Bouncer's, he has developed a batting style of keeping his bat high and UP, not very sure whether he has sorted his bouncer's problem. in case he has then it is great news.
