Ok now the truth

The 90s pak team got 4 tournaments. 96 99 wc and 1998 and 2000 champions trophy. By 2002 the golden crop of players were passed it.

Arrival of t20 wc in 2007 onwards and wtc means there is 1 icc tournament per year.

Lets be honest and say wi 1970 to 1990 and aus 1998 to 2011 would be sitting on a lot more trophies.

Even SL would have won more...they were an unstoppable beast from 1996-2002.

That's weird though,

Fasting isnt mandatory during certain events like travelling, am I right ?

There is a concept of Hadiya as well, which offer compensatory Rozas, can it not be applied ?

Yes, this is all drama , Pakistanis pretend to be religious but in daily life do everything which is against the religious teaching .

I would pick that team over the current nincanpoop team that's representing pakistan now. Atleast that team could compete ... and you know not get knocked out in freaking 4 days from a mega event tournament. To be honest, I dont even know many players from the current team anymore and the biggest name (Babar) is just stat padding

Totally Agree With Hafeez :adore:, but he did not praise Their former captain who led the rookie team in 2017 champions trophy. Apart from it, Hafeez Rocked while spitting facts and Shoaib Akhtar Shocked after listening to 90s So called Super Megastars

late 90s and 200s there was a super team in all departments way ahead of any1 , it was hard to beat aus of that time.

in ct with half of their 1st pick not available they made to sf

1999 was the last chance Pak wound have done something special, bowlers were bowling really good akthar in prime and not many batters would have like that kind of pace.

After that Aus went to next level, when ever some1 play against Aus they were treated like club team. Even a single win against that Aus was regarded in such high Pedestal

Tbh not sure when ct started being regaded as proper Icc trophy ?? And winning t20i cups it like saying rr too has a ipl trophy

2017 when pak won lol.

they hyped it too much and used it to troll india who also overhyped it.

2002 and 2013 no one gave an f.

One more overreaction and trolling by Pak on social media with the "no ICC trophies" thing is that test cricket has lost relevance in a lot of younger fans.

And India had a great test team in this period.

Hence the NZ whitewash didn't really receive much backlash from general circles cause the "ICC trophy" was won and test cricket kind of has lost that "primary" spot it had.

The BGT 20-21 win is as good as a lesser ICC trophy in my book but then again I am older (started watching from 03).

Younger kids growing up with IPL obviously give more precedence to "trophies"

For me BGT 20-21 was the greatest feat in Indian cricket, much bigger than 83, 2011 WC wins. Am sure even Aus fans would swap a couple of their WC trophies for reversal of that BGT result.

i'd take the odi wcs over that but that over everything else but again thats my age thing.

i see odi wc as main cause thats how i started.

older gen maybe tests as main.

younger - icc trophies over tests.

tests have become a niche thing tbh and will become more niche which is fine. don't see it surviving outside senai tbh.

as long as we have good quality cricket and we win.
