Look at Akhtar's expression.   Hafeez spitting facts though :hysterical:

Hafeez dropping truth bombs :hysterical:

If it hadn't rained that day in 1992 during Pak-Eng match, Pak wouldn't have anything to show at all throughout their history. All that "cornered tigers" and "unpredictable" cr@p was all thanks to a rained off match when Pak lucked into a point after being bowled out for 74.

he has been saying this for some time now. he has indicated a bit about 90s player about their corruptions etc.

he came out saying if amir was selected back into the team he will not be the part of the team.

Its just astonishing  how pcb keep recycling hafeez and malik who were such limited players over and over again think they played more than 15 yrs for pak which is too much for that kind of player. also both keept getting caught chucking while bowling and keep doing it again and again.

recently rasid latif also said to keep 90s player away from pcb

Although I don't trust their intellect but to bring each other down or show themselves as superior to other they automatically spew facts

It shows they themselves know where they really stand. If Hafeez thinks this about the so called 90s team when they were supposed to be world beaters, shows how poor they have been. As I said Pak's cricketing legacy was saved by rain in March 92 else they would still be waiting for a WC trophy like B'desh.

there always have been and will be infighting in pak team both board and players thrive on this.

Akhtar trying to salvage that we are the ones who won 73 ODIs & managed better H2H with India:hysterical:

Good thing that they are still high on that H2H ratio.

When the gulf of cricket between the two times has become so wide that India is the only Asian country which is successfully coming to the semis of ICC trophies while Pakistan is exiting in the first round itself.

All the wins they talk about against Ind were mostly from fixing days in Sharjah and Pak had a better team. When Ind became Miles better they stopped playing against Pak. That record would have been shattered:phew:

You're right these two very average players ( Hafeez and Malik ) had such a long career , only in Pakistan .

Akther has some merit to what he is saying. These days we are having an ICC tournament every year and even with all these chances the current Paxtani team couldn't defeat India on most occasions. Given the same number of chances to Akthar's team and they would definitely do better.

More than that, they underperformed in home tests. Lost 4-5 series including against Zimbabwe. Lanka brutalized them a couple of times in mid 90s. Just a collection of good/great players but not a cohesive unit. Misbah with far lesser players achieved more than 90s team.

Their 99 WC campaign is so overrated. Dropped 3 games before the final, to RSA, Ind, BD. And the massacre in the final. RSA vs Aus was the real final, number 1 vs 2, greatest ODI of all time.

Wajatullah Wasti as opener, Razzaq one down, and they think that team was world champion material. Don't think Inzi passed single digits in any of his innings either. Akram also didn't play Waqar in the XI.

Lanka had their Viv Richards of 90s in DeSilva accompanied by Jayasurya,Pantatunga's long lost great grand brother Ranatunga,Vaas ,Murli far better than any Asian side

largely hafiz's point is 90s team were engaged in corruption that's why they didnt win anything he acknowledges 90s team was better than any of pak's teams to come after and that corruption is still there in the system because of them. And early 2000s team have something to show for - t20 wc

akthar's point is they were better and ppl who came after them were no good had no charisma or flair, he is open critic of misbha for his tuk-tuk approach
