Its surprising how much T20 cricket is about intent and mindset. Maybe we will have alot more role of sports psychologistis in T20 arena down the line.

Couple of overs - you put a foot down on bowlers, and they can melt down because of how fast paced the game is and you fear not having enough time to bounce back into it.

Similarly, a couple of tight overs and batting side can find themslves all at sea under pressure.

Intent is large umbrella cover-up term used mostly for batters from sc, you would not hear this when player from sena, wi are playing.

batters from sc either plays for themselves their mile stones are playing  format not suite to them. or some time its both.

kl plays for himself, he has all the shots, he has done in the past but he want to get upto milestones, then there is babar who lacks the shots is dated and plays for his milestones and there are few who are playing the format which is not suited to them they might have intent but not the game.

These rut is not there in sena,wi cricket , players are playing for team , they are not bigger than the team. steve smith would have to play from 1 to 6 just to meet the teams need, root gets dropped from t20is as he is nt suited for the format and he is the best batter in the country, even kane williamson gets dropped or he opts out of t20i series.

sc batter would not like to opt out if they are not suited for the format, they will not drop down or bat-up the order if they are not comfortable

Ben Sears (nz) is supposed to be proper 140+kmph bowlers, hardly getting into 140s in this nz vs pak series -- have noticed this multiple time that the speed reading are lower in nz

I think Pakistan has no choice but to play this way. Otherwise they will get steamrolled in every match on flat wickets.

Applicable to every team i believe, on flat wickets every side needs(goes) berserk these days

nothing new in this ,sc players visits store take stuff and not pay, even the owner do not mind that.

Owner uses this to post on their social media, kind of never asked never got kind of a thing.

Babar is v .particular about his bats do not think he would go to shops and pick bats  and that time he was with GN who too are v.particular that their player uses only their stuff and  stock bat shapes are not exact players shape. Unless he found bat made to his specification from his fav. bat maker (who makes bats for alot of intn players). Hard to imagine that a top batter would be out of bats in a major icc events.

Source for other subcontinent team doing this? I have never heard about Indian players doing it, they are very conscious about their image.

Paxtan won the toss and decided to Chase. Out of the 17 T20 matches in this ground only two times chasing side won the game.

T Seifert will easily walk into the playing11 of any IPL team.   Certainly not a hack.  A proper hard hitting batter.   Has a wide range of strokes.

These players who play lot of franchise cricket are quite well rounded and complete. Neesham is another.
