Tillu Posted March 31, 2025 Posted March 31, 2025 Kohli is the most shameless blatant statpadder in the history of Indian cricket. Even in the CT 2025 semifinal he played a needless shot against Zampa worried he might lose out on an opportunity to score a century due to KL scoring quickly from the other end. Without Hardiks two sixes against Zampa would have been a tight match in the end. express bowling, nitinbwj, Ultimate_Game and 2 others 3 2

This selfish streak became more prominent after 2018-19. Before that he was simply bone headed and a poor captain. Since 2018-2019 he became a selfish stats padder too. vvvslaxman Posted April 2, 2025 Author Posted April 2, 2025 OKay i have a problem with Subhman Gill. Why is he not demoting himself and let Buttler open. He did this at international level too. He moved Abhishek sharma down the order when he was the captain. Ultimate_Game 1

Think he already replied to that "because rohit bahi also opens" or something on similar lines. Lord and cricspirit 2

Here he says left/right lol He is thinking Sai Sudarshan is the one they want to replace with Buttler. Sai is doing just fine.

So let me get this straight, he takes singles and gets to 100 he is statspadder like many of geniuses have complained about him before during world cup. Now according to you he is statpadder because he got out trying to hit six.

Yes the last 4 years, he has been so desperate to cross the 100 century mark that he is keeping these personal milestones above the team needs even during difficult match situations. He has been a great servant of Indian cricket and wouldn't deny the great memories he has given us especially against our arch rivals, but that's the truth and it was clearly visible.

He pushed down Abhishek right after Abhishek scored a 40 ball 100! And is now wasting Buttler down the order by doing tuk tuk with Sai while opening. Wouldn't surprise me if the selfish POS pushes down Sai and bring Buttler up but won't make any changes to his batting order no matter how much it harms the team. That's why I want Iyer or Pandya as our white-ball captain. Coz Gill will continue the same selfishness and star culture which we had to endure with Kohli and Rohit. Time for BCCI and management to see this and put Gill in his place. vvvslaxman 1

Him being too good in his younger days is reason for these statements. He is no longer able to finish the matches like he used . No he is not doing any stunts. He just got out trying to hit a six.I don't recollect any matches being lost due to him chasing any milestone. Edited April 3, 2025 by putrevus

Kohli has managed to runout the best batter which turned the match on its head. rollingstoned 1
