Pakistan against England bazballers in 2022 at home in the first test conceded 657 runs at an RR of 6.5 and then in second innings 264 runs at an RR of 7.36. so more than 4.5 in both innings.

Personal milestones mean jack Shite if you dont win the match- do you think Steve Smith or Ricky Ponting would have cared about a century in a WC final if they didn't win the cup?  Indians are selfish bunches who play for their own milestones to increase their brand value in IPL..

Batsmen are playing slowly from the 90s to reach the century and then losing focus once the century is reached, as if their work shift is over and they want to go home. Converting a century into a big one is also important.

Sachin scored his first 150 plus in his 23rd test and did not score his double hundred till his 71st 100 after ten years of playing international cricket. 

 

Jaiswal in his first 5 100s has scored two double 100s and one 150 plus.

 

So focus  of current Indian batsmen is just fine, scoring 100 is not walk in the park. They scored 5 100s in the match, now people are whining why they have not scored big 100s.

It's not just about scoring 100 but playing out balls. Rahul did that. He scored 100 in 200 balls which used to be normal scoring rate in the past. Now Jaiswal scored his 100 in 140 balls, same for pant. Fast scoring means more time in the game.

Why play out balls. Are we going back to Sunil Gavaskar's time when Draw was as good as win. 

 

You want more time in match so your bowlers can get 20 wickets.It is timidity and nonsense if you want to batsman to consume more deliveries just to waste time .

 

Indian fast bowlers have been inept and they cannot do it on their own away from home .That is the main issue and all of them are older bowlers with most of them over 30 . I can understand if this had happened against a very young bowling attack.

 

But we have the idiot coach who has sent a 22 year old fast  bowler home but is  preaching patience.

 

One bowler and prayer cannot be solution.
