No team has had an asshole like Prasidh in their side. How this asshole club cricketer makes it into the XI is a bigger mystery than how Chahal made it into the XI.

Oy! Just took 2 to give some hope!

Very disappointing. We're regressing at an alarming rate. The difference between performers and also-rans is a chasm at this point. Get in folks like Sundar, Jurel, Sarfaraz, Iyer, Reddy, Akash Deep, Arshdeep in as I've no confidence in anyone coming in after 5 (pant) bar Bumrah. Nos. 6-10 are purely passengers and are specialist fielders (and not good ones) at the moment.

Can a coach be fired mid-series? If so, that should be the first head to roll. Dude has got enough chances. Hire a real coach, not a big-name star cricketer.

Twin centuries by Pant have been laid to waste. Such a shame.

and Gill has the audacity to say that Jadeja bowled brilliantly but Pant couldn't spot the ball. Dumbfukkk Idiot, that Gadha Jaiswal already dropped a million chances and this wouldn't have mattered at all. How about a word on ugly pos lodu gadha so called bowler who gave away 220 runs in 35 overs  what about spray gun Siraj ? Selection of Thakur and his underutilisation

It's a feature, not a bug! Substandard results in tests will choke and kill off interest in the format. Entertainment will be provided via ODIs, T20Is and the IPL. That being said, England laid out a deck full of runs to keep the spectators interested, but still our team came up short with the scoring in both the innings.

1) No team in the history of test cricket has conceded runs at > 4.5 per over in both innings of a test match.   2) No team in the history of test cricket has dropped 10 catches in a single test.  3) No team in the history of test match has its lower order (last 5 batters) contributing less than 30 runs in both innings.  4) No team in the history of a test cricket has a bowler who picks a 5fer in 1st inning and 0fer in 2nd inning.

Pretty sure this is not true

It may not be factually true.  My post is intended partly for pun and also partly intended to expose the various glaring loopholes in the side.  The 4th point may not be factually true but still sounds weird that we hv a bowler who bowls like a champ in 1st inning, and then bowls like a debutant in the 2nd inning (when we need him the most)

Milestones are overrated in a team sport. How is a 97 less valuable than 101, or an innings changing 3fer/4fer less valuable than a 5fer taken when opponent has scored 500 runs and got out swinging?

Eng scored 2 100s this match, no 5fer, still won comfortably in the end. Indians should stop thinking in terms of milestones.

eng last 4 wickets added 116 in the first innings and some posters here are ok with our 8,9,10,11 to score 10 runs. Pathetic !!
