Over 38 should be instantly told to retire Not many players can play over the age of 35 its mostly about their marketability or unavailability of replacements. In most of the cases replacements are made ready by that time, but can not create similar kind of marketability. Player who are not as marketable -- Ashwin, Pujara, Rahane, few bowlers like Umesh and Ishant retired and there was not fuss because these ppl were not as marketable.
Zero_Unit Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 Satire or real? He most definitely did not pass any fitness test with that lard around his tummy ... Lord 1
gattaca Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 He just needed to say Yo Yo but he stopped by for eating vadapav and then said it so he has passed yo yo in flying colors.
kosingh Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Is youp test about how many vada have you can eat in 5 minutes?
Strangering Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 YoYo fitness test holds no credibility if this true.
NameGoesHere Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Sometimes I feel like an old man shouting at clouds when I react to the current standards of journalism in this country. NDTV hasn’t verified a single thing and there is no actual data provided except the claim that Sharma ‘passed’. On top of a flagrant disregard for the basic rules of journalism, there is a flagrant disregard for grammar (‘result of it’). Oh and as an aside, the media source quoted is owned by Boria Majumdar - remember that guy? Wriddhiman Saha would like a word

India's star player Rohit Sharma recently turned up for the newly-introduced bronco test and the result of it has come out. How a 38-year-old Rohit would perform at the new form of test that has been put into effect by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) earlier this month was the talk of the town. However, Rohit has not only just passed it but reportedly also impressed everyone with his performance during the test, which also had the Yo-Yo test that is already being used by the Indian cricket team to measure the fitness level of the players. All the players who featured in the tests on August 30 and 31 have passed it, as per RevSportz Global. It added that everyone was impressed with Rohit's physical appearance and his peformance at the Centre of Excellence during the test in Bengaluru. Prasidh Krishna really impressed with high number during the test, the report added. Bahut Boria... Bahut Boria
