Rohit Sharma Undergoes Bronco Test, This Is The Result: Report

India's star player Rohit Sharma recently turned up for the newly-introduced bronco test and the result of it has come out.

India's star player Rohit Sharma recently turned up for the newly-introduced bronco test and the result of it has come out. How a 38-year-old Rohit would perform at the new form of test that has been put into effect by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) earlier this month was the talk of the town. However, Rohit has not only just passed it but reportedly also impressed everyone with his performance during the test, which also had the Yo-Yo test that is already being used by the Indian cricket team to measure the fitness level of the players.

All the players who featured in the tests on August 30 and 31 have passed it, as per RevSportz Global. It added that everyone was impressed with Rohit's physical appearance and his peformance at the Centre of Excellence during the test in Bengaluru. Prasidh Krishna really impressed with high number during the test, the report added.

All these tests are smoke and mirrors, bcci does not release any numbers/ results. Players are nt allowed to tell yet the results comes into public.

Mostly starts with some small social media account , pr companies/fans start pushing it on sm then picked up bigger sm account then some yt videos and then going to mainstream media.

Unless some1 is injured do not think these test are planned to reject some player its just to keep them fit to an acceptable levels.

There are no cricket specific tests they are just borrowing it from other sports. In cricket skill will always surpass the fitness.  And in cricket is acceptable or  norm to play with injuries many be as low 60-70% fitness level of the player.

Lets say if a team has gayle in their team for a t20i match who is not the fastest runner or fastest mover in the field yet he is point of difference between the two team.

In other motion/running related sport it will never work.

There has to be some studies done to get the exact kind of test or routine needed for cricket and its fitness

Indian cricket is in serious trouble. There're two scenarios and none of them are good...

a) If Rohit genuinely "passed" yoyo and other fitness tests that shows how poor our standards are that a middle aged uncle with a full-blown pot-belly can pass these tests. They're essentially meaningless and you may as well shelve them.

b) Rohit's fitness test was rubber stamped and he "passed" the fitness tests the same way as General Aladeen established the World Record

Yep that would be my fav movie. Like his famous calling YOU HAIRY PORTER

Pandya, Kohli, Jaddu hit 18.5-19 some 5-6 years back and were the best from our squad only behind Manish Pandey (19.2).

Kohli before 23 WC hit 17.2

Shubman Gill was reportedly the fittest Indian player, achieving a score of 18.7 on the yo-yo test, while Virat Kohli managed a score of 17.2.

Suddenly Rohit scores 19.4 and we are supposed to believe that? Saboot do.
