They Will lose confidence perhaps... They can't play left arm spinners with limited revs at 77k.. and standard left arm spinner in India bowls 80-85k with significant revs.

 

Sweep can be mastered while growing up.  Kohli has long tried to nail this shot but when time comes he 99% of times fails to execute properly.

Bangladeshi women practiced against under-15 boys and handsomely lost lol Our gilrs should try. In India Jemima and Harmanpreet are expert sweepers. If anythign Jemima sweeps 24/7 lol

A washed up Kaur still has highest ceiling in Indian team.  Shots, aesthetics, stable base.  No slogging.  You can't have that in everyone.

 

We haven't produced a batter of her calibre in last 10 years... Which is honesty pretty grim.

True. These Harleens and others are nothing compared to a full flowing Harman.

India was also ran for a very long time until Kaur's 171. She put India on the map. That was the watershed moment in Indian limited over history. Mithali was a safe and secure player. But she showed what power hitting is to Indian women with 80 meter sixes. She is also clutch. Most of the time she was undone by spectacular catch or run out.

Smiriti Mandhana not lofting  much tells me one thing.  She is a compulsive lofted shot player. It seems like she has been instructed not to play lofted shot. Coaching?

Yeah she was rare mix of Talent ability and mental fortitude in a Indian Women's player.

I watched her in that CWG final as well.  She looked a cut above the rest of Indian players in sheer skill and ability.  I admired her for that knock.  It was just awesome and only our bad luck that we ended on losing side.

 

Purely based on eye test I haven't seen anyone of her ability in Indian side.

Even her washed up version 

 

Richa Ghosh has brute power and that's good but damn that finnese and gift of timing with that power is what made Harman different.
