It will make sense for SKY to lead 2026 T20 WC and then retire.

 

I would possibly look at Rinku after SKY. Rinku is proper batsman, being wasted due to being pigeonholed as a finisher.

 

I would  want Gill and Jaiswal to focus on Tests and ODI, become well established in the both formats, then make run for the 2028 T20 WC.

The Wk should open, and amongst #1-3  batter one of them should have some kind of bowling ability. and one of them have to be LH batter.

If a does not have a mystery spinner then this should be template for bowling :<Defensive fast bowler> ,<Left Arm Fast>,<Wrist-spin>,<Bowling Allrounder>,<Spin-Bowling Allrounder>.
