SENA pitches are true pitches,batting 2nd in most cases is advantage,yes you need good spinner(s)/pace variation to restrict sides there

NZ were 3 down for 6 runs, managed to score 90+ in 1st 10 over and recovered to score 180 runs. This is new t20 cricket there is no anchor if there is a collapse some1 from top4 should be able to navigate the team and give them a good score.

 

And then chasing Aus chased it down in 17th over. The game is changing. Ind has taken a step back with Gill and that also is tampering  with batting combination and template

The irony is..Gill isnt even able to consolidate when we actually need him..

Aus has a scary batting line up. Everyone can tonk sixes till 8 and Marsh's approach is similar to India ...just bang bang bang. On Pattas ,they will outbat the opposition. Not sure how they will play in SC though.

Gill, SKY drag us down...especially the former. If we play our best XI, we will overwhelm even Aussies.

SKY will not be there,he has regressed very fast 

Main problem is Gill, he's the new poster boy whom they will project across formats(which he doesn't deserve)

He will pull this side down by being a freeloader in this format

Consolidation can be done by even Tilak,he has got multiple gears to shift to,we need impact uptopp to unsettled plans which Gill isn't capable of 

Hope borad realises it sooner,but it won't happen anytime soon or never i know

SC -- Ind and Pak are good batting wkts for white-ball and specially t20s, most wkts in SL and Bd are dodgy.

 

Think the average t20i strike rate of Aus in last 2-3 yrs. should be the best or in top -3, They have big hitter, the plus points of such batting line-up is even mishits goes for 6s.

 

It reminds of WC-2016 wi where Sammy said that they are 6 hitting side and thats their brand of cricket and not easy to stop them when they are zone or something on similar lines.

 

This is Aus 3rd series where they scored heavily,WI, SA they score heavily now NZ. They do not seem to stop or slow down, they keep hitting. Ind has already messed-up batting combination plus Ind lacks a finisher.

 

Plus Aus have been able to chase 200+ targets easily.

Sky is in bad form or declining but still he is a t20 batter, Gill is not.

He has just 2 six hitting shots sweep vs spin and flick on legside vs pace.

 

He is anchor/self-preserver by design so he will wait for Abhishek to hit 4/6s and he himself will try to put bad balls to the boundary but if Abhishek falls he will go back to his shell further and wait fr other play aggressive cricket, the tactics which has costed Ind in all the T20 WCs
