There is no power hitters in true sense in Ind, Ind-A sides have always been like this lot of bowling options -Part time spinners.

Think Iyer used to  bowl when he was in A sides, saw jaiswal roll this arms -he should work  on his leg-spin can be a factor -he is tall so should be able to control pace and length much betters.

 

 

Ruturaj has been performing for a long time in 50-overs Sub- intnl cricket

He is not intnl quality, does not have proper off-side game. has habit of poking at any kind bowling which is decking away from him be it spin or pace.

Nope he isn't.  Didn't failed even today.  Provided a flying start in a 290 chase.

Needs to play more games like these.  ODIs are more or less extension of T20s.

 

10 overs PP must be used by ultra aggressive style.

Yeah he is good on short or good length but his lack of off side play was always a weakness.  His feet doesn't moves towards the ball at all.

Yeah absolutely as long we have good batting depth he needs to be told to do the exact same thing in ODI as T20

He should be treatd as all rounder. Him and  Paragh should be backed to bowl 10 overs.  You get 2 batsmen 2 bowlers instead of 1 bowler 1 batsmen. darren Lehmann was not exactly a great bowler. But he bowled a lot of overs in 2003 world cup

If they back RUturaj they should back him all the way. Can't drop him after 2 or 3 low scores. Ruturaj can be your match winner on tough pitches.

Pant has an issue with bouncers going over his shoulder. This issue has been figured out in the India A test match with SA A.

 

Going forward I expect him to bat with a lot more responsibility atleast in India. Why go for reckless shots when he already has a good defensive game.
