Low back lift smother the ball. That is a working startegy for West INdian tailenders for years. If i cast my mind back to MCG test this is how Australia was struggling to pick a wicket. Then they tossed the ball to Head.  "Stupid stupid stupid" happened

I think NZ is sensing WI is not going for win. This will give more license to NZ to attack. WI has to keep the scoreboard ticking to keep that fear. alive.

Our strongest test unit ever has disintegrated without leaving any positive result in NZ. Never had any decent outing with the bat.

The current side was whitewashed at home so not realistic to expect anything different any time soon. Maybe Windies can inspire them

Praise the Lord! Anything but a WI win....Zak Foulkes and Jacob Duffy with all of 2 tests between them before this one have bowled 32 and 39 overs and Matt Henry just has 11. NZ basically did not play any bowlers this match.

We didn't get these sort of pitches. Not the right comparison. After 2013/14 where Dhawan, Kohli etc made runs we toured only in 2019/20 where all surfaces were green mambas.

INdia needed 100 in 20 overs with 7 wickets in hand. THen we lost  2 more with 30 odd more runs. That is when things got tricky.

correct. If you let the know you go for draw they can create artificial pressure with a lot of close in fielder.
