"So we will have to bat well. Take it session by session. If we don't give a wicket in the first session, then there will obviously be pressure on the bowlers that they need to bowl us out. For us that will be the win-win situation if we can bat out the full day tomorrow. For us, it'll be as good as a winning situation." https://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/136664/win-win-situation-if-we-bat-out-day-5-jadeja Minnow Mentality. It is impossible to win from here but the Indian Camp are also more than happy to avoid a whitewash. Edited November 25, 2025 by javier26
Lone Wolf Posted November 25, 2025 Posted November 25, 2025 (edited) Bunch of minnows... Really. Zero f*a given even if they draw this game Edited November 25, 2025 by Lone Wolf
Laaloo Posted November 25, 2025 Posted November 25, 2025 They will lose one hour after lunch express bowling 1
Gollum Posted November 25, 2025 Posted November 25, 2025 Jaddu is right, look at the larger picture because series is anyway lost, WTC final chances are also close to zero. This is the kind of game where you build your character. Let these youngsters bat out a full day in typical day 5 Indian conditions against quality spinners to save the test, I will respect them much more if they manage that. Will serve us in the future as well if they do bat 100 overs to draw the test. Lord and cricspirit 2
vvvslaxman Posted November 25, 2025 Posted November 25, 2025 They did at old trafford. It is not going to be as straight forward as you will get to face different types of bowlers on a wearing 5th day wicket.
